Required Candidate Skills :
- Candidate should have 0 - 2 years of Software Engineering/QA experience, with some exposure to telco domain preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Technology preferred.
- Candidate should have Knowledge on Formal software testing methodologies.
- Candidate should have Knowledge on Integration testing.
- Candidate should have Knowledge on Conformance testing.
- Candidate should have Knowledge on Module and Functional testing.
- Candidate should have Knowledge on Document inspections & reviews.
- Candidate should have Knowledge on Strong troubleshooting and error analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of GSM standards and testing methods preferred.
- Good knowledge of SMS/MMS technologies preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Oracle Mandatory.
- Exposure to Test case management tools such as QC, Automation frameworks such as QTP and Defect management system such as Jira preferred.
Job Description:
- The QA engineer is responsible for understanding the requirements, developing test plans, executing test cases and reporting on the same. Need to participate in all aspects of QA life cycle.
- This will be an individual contributor role working along with a QA Lead.
- Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- 100% Manual Functional testing
- Assist in the development and maintenance of testing procedures and adhere to all QA processes
- Manage test plan/test case development/execution and schedule.
