Indian Coast Guard or ICG was formed on 18th August 1978 by the Government of India under the Union Ministry of Defence as a branch of an Indian Armed Forces for the protection of India’s maritime interests and maritime law enforcement with jurisdiction over international and territorial waters. A naval officer of the rank of Vice-admiral is the head of the department. It is an important part of the Indian Armed Force.

Age Limit:- Born between 01 Aug 90 to 31 Jul 94. (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)
