- Candidate Should have Work Experience in a 24 x 7 Data Center environment.
- Understanding of Firewalls, Load Balancers, switches, and network design.
- Candidate Should have Database programming skills using PL/SQL or T-SQL.
- MCP/MCSA/MCSE in Windows 2003/2008.
- Linux system administration skills are a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools (PRTG, SiteScope, MOM, Nagios, IPSentry, MRTG, ActiveBatch, etc..) is a plus
- MS SQL & Oracle configuration, troubleshooting, and tuning skills are a strong plus.
- Experience supporting large relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, mySQL) is a plus

Job Description:
- Candidate should monitor the system 24x7
- Candidate should Respond to customer requests for program loads, and system customization specific to SumTotal Systems industry leading product(s).
- Candidate should be Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, configuration and operation of selected systems.
- Candidate should Perform all backups and recovery for the hosted environment.
- Candidate should Monitor system performance and capacity; provide input for needed expansion or alternative configurations to support additional storage, database capacity, or web server capacity needs.
- Candidate should Optimize system availability, security, and performance for selected systems.
- Candidate should Provide backend support for the systems to internal customers.
