7. MS SQL & Oracle configuration, troubleshooting, and tuning skills are a strong plus.

1. Candidate should monitor the system 24x7
2. Candidate should Respond to customer requests for program loads, and system customization specific to SumTotal Systems industry leading product(s).
3. Candidate should be Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, configuration and operation of selected systems.
4. Candidate should Perform all backups and recovery for the hosted environment.
5. Candidate should Monitor system performance and capacity; provide input for needed expansion or alternative configurations to support additional storage, database capacity, or web server capacity needs.
6. Candidate should Optimize system availability, security, and performance for selected systems.
7. Candidate should Provide backend support for the systems to internal customers.
