- Scripting abilities preferred (Perl/Python/Bash).
- Well developed writing and English speaking skills.
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix and Open Source
- Conveys information concisely and clearly to all levels of client.
- Prior RHCE or other Red Hat Certifications would be considered a huge advantage
- Preference would be given to candidates who have worked on support role.
- Active participation in LUGs (Linux Unix Groups) and Open Source Projects will be an added advantage.
- Should be comfortable working in Shifts.

Job Description:
- Provide technical support to customers by taking incoming calls and responding to web-based inquiries.
- Perform diagnostics of problems, troubleshoot and develop solutions for customer issues.
- Exceed customer expectations with outstanding customer service.
- Consult with and develop relationships with in-house engineers and developers to drive creative solutions and improve customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to global Red Hat knowledge management system in the process of working customer issues.
